What is Marple?
Marple is a web-based time series data analysis platform specialized in test- and measurement data.
We believe that in order to properly understand your data, you need to be able to play with it...
and that is exactly what Marple does!
Marple allows a team of engineers or scientists to interactively visualize their data. Marple is web-based, so there is no need to install any clunky programs or download large data sets. Just log in and see your data right away!

When to use Marple?
Marple works best with test and measurement data. Typically, during tests or simulations a lot of sensor/measurement data is generated. An important factor in this data is the time component.
These data sets are often saved in CSV, MAT, ULOG, .. formats.
After a test engineers or scientists need to analyse their data. This process if often cumbersome and requires manual scripting in order to open the data or even find the right data set. Marple makes this process a lot easier.
Use Marple when you ..
- are developing a prototype
- have a lot of measurement data
- work in a team of engineers
- need to manage your measurement data
- ..
Marple is essential when you are developing a drone, car, airplane, robot, ..

Why Marple exists
There are plenty of tools for making dashboards
There are plenty of business intelligence tools
There are plenty of plotting libraries
but there are barely any tools for time series data analysis in the engineering world.
.. and this is why Marple was created.
In the current workflow, engineers and scientists need to write their own analysis scripts in MATLAB or Python. Scripts that are able to load some data, read a few signals, and make a bunch of plots. Every change usually requires a re-run of the script. Does this sound familiar? Maybe Marple is something for you!
